The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of characters who will branch out from the main group to begin their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his own means, invading the secret base, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, north of the city, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and cautions that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could assist the party access locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The fighter pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group will be absent the following episode, leaving the rest of the cast members to form the Questers and Planners groups.

Viewers can look forward to learning which adventurers will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
