In a bizarre partnership that defies usual expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine group.
The adventure centers on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Content
Players who finish the quest will obtain an unique katana together with multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This update also brings the game's latest complimentary story addition, titled "The Mystery."
